Muslim World League condemns terrorist bombings in Iraq and Turkey

MAKKAH, 13th January, 2016 (WAM) -- The Secretariat-General of Muslim World League has condemned the terrorist bombings which occurred in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and the city of Istanbul in Turkey that resulted in the killing and injuring of a number of people.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the League's Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, called on the leaders of the world, organisations and intellectuals to stand united in the face of this violence in all its forms and manifestations, and to address what causes these terrorist acts, praising the position of governments and international organisations, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who called for the formation of an Islamic alliance to fight terrorism and eliminate all its sources.
