Cricket Namibia have announced the national squad to compete in the Pepsi ICC Africa T20 Division 1 Qualifiers.
The Namibian squad will be playing against African countries Kenya, Uganda, Botswana Tanzania and Nigeria, from 27 to 31 March in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Boasting experience and young talent, Namibia have 12 of the 14 players in the squad that formed part of the successful WCL Division 2 tournament held in January in Windhoek. Two new players are also included in left-arm bowler Zhivago Groenewald and medium pacer Jason Davidson.
The top two teams at the end of tournament will progress to the Pepsi ICC Global T20 Qualifiers to be held in Scotland and Ireland in July 2015, where they will face international teams such as Ireland, Scotland, Afghanistan and UAE.
