ABU DHABI, -- Ongoing screening has identified presence of bird flu in just seven captive birds in Madinat Zayed, Western Region, Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Emergency and Crisis Management Team said in a statement on Wednesday.
''The rapid response enabled these cases to be identified, isolated and managed effectively according to the international guidelines, the statement added.
''Testing of birds within a 3km geographic area has revealed no further cases. Continuous monitoring within the area will be undertaken to ensure there are no further incidents of the flu," the statement affirmed.
