NAIROBI, 28th July 2016 (WAM) – Amina Mohamed, Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary, met here on Thursday with Abdul Raziq Mohamed Hadi, UAE Ambassador to Nairobi.

The cabinet secretary affirmed that her country places a priority to Emirati investments in ports, tourism and hospitality sectors.

The meeting touched on bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, as well as the potential for facilitating recruitment of Kenyan manpower in the hotels and health fields.

Mohamed said the two countries will soon ratify agreements on avoidance of double taxation and investments protection. She thanked the UAE for the humanitarian assistance provided to the Kenyan people.
