Qatari Foreign Minister discusses Aleppo with Turkish, French, British counterparts

DOHA, 1st May, 2016 (WAM) -- Qatari Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, has held separate telephone conversations with his counterparts in Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu, France, Jean-Marc Ayrault and the UK, Philip Hammond.

According to Qatar News Agency, QNA, the Qatari Foreign Minister discussed with his counterparts the humanitarian conditions in Aleppo in light of the Syrian regime's continuous brutal shelling of civilian institutions and people.

The Foreign Minister said that the situation in Aleppo contradicts all international charters and principles, stressing the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop this massacre and protect the Syrian people.
