RAS AL-KHAIMAH -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has issued a decision forming the Board of Directors of the Ras al-Khaimah Sports and Cultural Club.

The club will be chaired by Dr. Abdulrahim Abdullatif Al Shahin, with Saleh Ahmed Al Nuaimi as Deputy Chairman. The membership of the club will include Ali Ibrahim Abdullah, Nasser Khamis Al Mahri, Nader Moussa Al Mandoos, Adnan Ateeq Al Shehhi, Abdulrahman Ali Al Tenaiji, Saeed Ali Al Kas, Jassem Mohammed Al Sakkar, Fadl Nasser Al Kas Al Ali and Hessa Saif Al Shamili.

The decision states that the board of directors will choose members to take necessary administrative and technical positions. It will also hold its meetings based on the decision of the club's president or the chairman of the board, whenever they deem appropriate.

The decisions of the board will be issued based on a majority vote by its members. In cases of even votes, the side taken by the president of the club or the chairman of the board outweighs the other side, according to specific conditions. The board will supervise the administration of the club and its activities, while the president will approve the club's annual budgets. The board, through the president, will send their reports to H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi or his deputy.

The president may fill vacancies on the board, as well as replace any of its members. The board will function for two years starting from its formation date and will continue to manage the club and take decisions as it deems appropriate, until the forming of a new board.

The new decision annuls any other decisions that contradict or challenge its provisions. It is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
