KUALA LUMPUR, 17th May, 2016 (WAM) — Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, and the Minister of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia, Mohammad Nazari Abdulaziz, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries.

The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, said that the MoU, which was signed yesterday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia, put in place mechanisms for exchanges of information and experiences between the two countries to promote each other’s tourism services, in addition to enriching economic and social aspects, architectural heritage, handicrafts and investment in tourism development, management of hotels and tourist resorts, and regulations associated with the facilities of tourist accommodation.

Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz arrived in Kuala Lumpur yesterday at the invitation of the Malaysian minister.
