RIYADH, 14th January, 2017 (WAM) — The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has imposed a temporary ban on the import of live birds, hatching eggs and chicks from the Republic of Slovakia after receiving a warning bulletin from World Organisation for Animal Health on outbreak of high virulent bird flu in Slovakia, according to Saudi Press Agency, SPA.

Various animal quarantines at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ports and other relevant governmental agencies have been directed to take the necessary action in this regard.
