RIYADH, 18th October, 2016 (WAM) — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has met with the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, and discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields.

The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, said that the meeting took place in Riyadh today.

The meeting also touched on joint cooperation to combat extremism and the fight against terrorism, as well as a review of the developments in the region, and the position of the two brotherly countries towards them.

Following the meeting, the Crown Prince hosted a dinner for Dr. Abdullah and his accompanying delegation.
