ABU DHABI, A total of 293 male and female students of the second batch graduated from the Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, part of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, ACTVET.
Held at the Institute Of Applied Technology, IAT, in Mohamed bin Zayed City, the ceremony was witnessed by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education.
The graduates completed the following courses on seven major specialisations: Advanced Energy Engineering Technology; Electromechanical Engineering Technology; Information Security Engineering Technology; Petroleum Engineering Technology; Meteorology; Aircraft Engineering Technology; and Aircraft Maintenance; Air Traffic Management.
Also attending the ceremony were Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director-General of ACTVET; Mohammed Al Hammadi, CEO of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation; Dr. Ahmad Abdulmanan Alawar, Managing Director of IAT; Dr. Abdulrahman Jassem Al Hammadi, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute, ADVETI; Dr. Ali Hilal Alnaqbi, Director of Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, and several officials and guardians of graduates.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Alawar said that 904 holders of BA and higher diplomas had graduated from the Abu Dhabi Polytechnic since 2010.
