SHARJAH, -- The Sharjah Press Club has organised an interactive session on the sidelines of the 6th International Government Communication Forum, which started today and will run for two days at the Sharjah Expo Centre.

The event will be attended by several journalists and representatives of various international, regional and local media outlets.

During the session, British journalist Kelvin O'Shea said that the UAE supports the success of employees in all sectors while stressing that this positive environment has led to great development. He also spoke about his professional experience of working more than 40 years in the media.

The latest International Government Communication Forum will emphasise sustainable development goals, adopted by world leaders during the historic summit in September 2015, to achieve 17 Sustainable Development Goals from the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, including combatting poverty, diseases and illiteracy, as well as women's empowerment, environmental protection and other important goals.
