ABU DHABI, -- H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, witnessed this evening, in the Abu Dhabi National Theatre, the graduation ceremony of 481 female graduates of the students of UAE University, UAEU, Zayed University and the Higher Colleges of Technology, HCT.

The graduation ceremony of the 36th batch of female students of UAEU, the 26th batch of female students of HCT, and the 15th batch of female students of Zayed University, was attended by a number of sheikhas, female ministers and female leaders.

The ceremony began with the national anthem and the reciting of Quranic verses, followed by the welcoming speech. Afterwards, H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak directed a speech to the graduates on the occasion, which was given by Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State on Her Highness's behalf, which said, "Each year we are overwhelmed by the happiness of celebrating the graduation of a new troop of my daughters, who reaped the fruits of their university studies by excelling at UAEU, Zayed University and HCT.

Our celebration for you today expresses our happiness with the scientific establishments that our dear country is witnessing, whose glory increases with your excellence that became a title for our journey in the field of sustainable development. It is the bright image that the Emirati woman has become, with all her creative abilities and inventive roles in all fields of science and other working areas."

"Finally, I am pleased with the distinguished scientific level that the UAE University, Zayed University and Higher Colleges of Technology, is now known for. The stream of women graduates excelling in their different scientific specialties each year adds to the human development in diversity and ability," she noted.

"May God guide our wise leadership and help them reach the goals and strategic visions for the nation's establishments to increase its greatness and glory. God bless you, solid branches in building and work. I also congratulate your parents who spared no efforts in your care, support and direction. God bless the UAE leadership, government and people."
