In a bid to foster mutual cooperation with government and private institutions, Social Support Center has organized a two-day workshop on the role assumed by the Center. The workshop was held at the venue of Sharjah Cultural Palace, and the target audiences were the social workers of various Sharjah Emirate private schools. 224 social workers had attended the workshop which was delivered by Major Mani Ali Al Naqbi, Director of Awareness and Family Protection Branch, and 1st Lieutenant Talia Al Saadi, the psychiatrist at the Center.

During the workshop, the leading role assumed by Social Support Center and its efforts in handling and removing obstacles hampering students' academic attainment were highlighted. Such problems are resolved through the existing coordination between Social Support Center's School Liaison Branch and the social workers of various Sharjah Emirate schools.
