AMMAN, 2nd January, 2017 (WAM) — Jordan has announced that three of its citizens were killed and six others wounded in the terrorist attack that took place in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The Petra News Agency quoted a statement from the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs as saying that a sixth Jordanian who was reported missing was later found in a hospital and reported to be in a critical condition.
The statement said that Jordanian diplomats visited the hospitals where the injured were receiving treatment and checked on their conditions. They were reported to be in good to critical condition.
“The ministry is still following up with the Turkish authorities to check on the conditions of Jordanian’s who were reported missing in Turkey,” the statement added.
