VICTORIA, — Ambassador of the UAE to Australia, Dr. Obaid Al Heri Al Ketbi, has separately met Victorian Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade of Victoria state, Philip Dalidakis, and Minister for Health of Victoria state, Jill Hennessy, as part of his official visit to the state.

During his meeting with Dalidakis he discussed matters of common interest and ways of furthering economic and trade relations between the UAE and Australia.

The pair also discussed ways of promoting co-operation, increasing trade and exchange of government visits, and encouraging the private sector in both countries through trade shows and events.

Dalidakis praised the role of the UAE in all spheres and hailed its strong relations with Australia. He wished the UAE further progress and prosperity.

Ambassador Al Ketbi and Minister Hennessy discussed issues of common interest and ways of promoting co-operation in the health sector. They also discussed the need for exchanging experiences, expertise, qualified human resources, and researches and studies between the two countries.

The minister commended the major achievements made in healthcare and human development in the UAE.
