CAPITALS, 8th December, 2016 (WAM)–The UAE diplomatic missions abroad continue to observe the 45th UAE National Day anniversary.
The UAE Embassy to Mongolia hosted the reception attended by a number of Mongolian government officials, the ambassadors accredited to Mongolia, international organisations and businessmen.
Abdullah Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al Tunaiji, UAE Ambassador to Mongolia delivered a speech in which he congratulated the leadership, government and people of the UAE, recalling the deeds and achievements of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the late Rulers of the Emirates.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia also gave a speech in which she congratulated the people of the UAE, and praised the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
In Germany, Abdulbaset Mohammed Abdulla Ali Almarzooqi, UAE Consul-General in Munich, hosted the reception to mark the National Day. It was attended by a number of Bavaria state officials, led by the guest of honour, District President of the Upper Palatinate Brigitta Brunner.
Brunner commended the relations between the UAE and the Federal Republic of Germany in general, and the UAE and Bavaria in particular. She noted that both countries were looking for further cooperation in all fields, especially in the areas of investment.
The event was also attended by a number of members of the Bavarian parliament, senior German officials, as well as members of the diplomatic and consular corps accredited to the state of Bavaria and other dignitaries.
The ceremony included a number of cultural and artistic events such as photo and art show, which featured paintings of tourist landmarks, documenting the history of the UAE. There were also folk dances (Youla), and reciting of poems by some Emiratis in Munich on the occasion.
