CAIRO, 28th September, 2016 (WAM) – The UAE is participating in meetings of the committee of experts and representatives of the Arab Ministries of Justice, Interior and Health, which began today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League to prepare a draft Arab Convention on Prevention and Combating Human Cloning.

The UAE delegation is headed by Adviser Abdullah Al Marzooqi, Assistant Head of the Agreements Section, at the Ministry of Justice.

Dr. Widad al-Qaisi, Adviser to the Shura Council of Iraq, who chaired the meeting, said that the committee reviews remarks received from the member states on the draft Arab Convention on Prevention and Combating Human Cloning ahead of submitting the final version of the draft law to the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice for approval at its next session.
