ABU DHABI, Umm Al Emarat Park will transform into a festive UAE-themed park for its celebration of the 47th National Day, presented by Royal Group, from 30th November to 2nd December with a diverse range of events and entertainment lined up for the long weekend.
As part of the celebrations, the park will be entirely decorated in UAE flags and will host a 'Heritage Village' serving traditional Emirati treats, and showcasing authentic Emirati heritage of falconry, diving, traditional Emirati weaving, roaming traditional 'Ayala' performances, and more. In the Children's Garden, Umm Al Emarat Park will host a 'National Day Bazaar' with a pop-up market, astronomy shows, and a variety of kid's crafts workshops. Camel rides will also be offered at the Animal Barn.
Visitors will have the chance to sign and leave their well wishes and express their feelings towards this great nation on large canvases installed throughout the park.
There are plenty of fun activities packed for children to enjoy including Emirati cartoon and film screenings, balloon twisting, and face painting. To add to the excitement, children are encouraged to come to the park throughout the weekend dressed in traditional Emirati dress and in the flag's colours for a chance to receive giveaways and prizes.
The Ripe Market will also be open on Saturday, 1st December, featuring stalls selling fresh organic fruits and vegetables, in addition to handmade products and crafts by small businesses. Many kid's activities, live performances, and yoga sessions will also be available at Ripe Market.

Along with the fun entertainment lined up for the National Day holiday, visitors can stroll through the Wisdom Garden to read and reflect on the late Sheikh Zayed's sayings engraved on its walls, as their own personal tributes to the Founding Father of the UAE.
