SHARJAH, 19th October, 2016 (WAM) — Barbara A. Leaf, Ambassador of the United States to the UAE has hailed the distinguished performance and services provided by the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services to its students, especially people with disabilities. She expressed her happiness at seeing them receiving education and training at their schools.
While visiting the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, the Ambassador of the United States also pointed to their innovative production in various creative production in various educational and training workshops. The US diplomat was received by Sheikha Jamila Al Qassimi, Director-General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services and a number of officials who accompanied her in a tour inside the city’s utilities.
Sheikha Jamila referred to the long-standing co-operation between Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services and the US Embassy, noting that the visit would enhance the existing co-operation between the two sides to serve every one in general and people with disabilities in particular.
