MANILA, 17th November, 2015 (WAM) — US President Barack Obama arrived in Manila on Tuesday for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, APEC, summit.

Obama is in the country for a three-day trip, during which he is expected to hold bilateral meetings with President of Philippines Benigno Aquino and other heads of state. Obama’s meeting with Aquino is expected to touch on the country’s territorial row with China.

After the APEC summit, the US President will fly to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia for the ASEAN and East Asia summits.
