ABU DHABI -- Hamad bin Kardous Al Ameri, Director-General of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Ali Al Alawi, Abu Dhabi Branch Director of the Zayed House for Islamic Culture, ZHIC, have honoured new member students for their desire to learn the Arabic language and learn by heart certain parts of the Holy Quran.

The honouring ceremony was attended by Mohammed Saeed Al Qubaisi, Head of Projects at the Foundation, and several of its employees, as well as ZHIC employees and representatives of authorities supporting the Zakat Fund and the Food Control Department, and representatives of the community police from the Al Rawda Centre.

Al Ameri stressed that the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation is open to all types of cultural and charitable and humanitarian activities, especially during this year's silver jubilee celebration of 25 years since its establishment, while responding to the calls of the wise leadership to implement activities for the Year of Giving.

He also conveyed the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and his deputy H.H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
