DUBAI,- The Board of Directors of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme on Wednesday approved AED345.5 million in housing loans and grants for 554 eligible Emiratis, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works and the chairman of the national housing scheme announced.
The AED345.5 million covers 56 residential housing grants and 476 housing loans, he said.
The approval of the assistance is as per the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of U.A.E. and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and is being followed up by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the minister added.
The move, which coincides with Eid al-Adha, represents a new initiative of the government to provide decent living conditions for nationals and proves once again that the UAE leadership is keen on providing social and familial stability to Emiratis across the country.
