UAE announces 265 new COVID-19 cases, 368 recoveries, and no deaths in last 24 hours

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 232,493 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary care treatment.

As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced 265 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 898,310.

According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.

The Ministry added that no COVID-19-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,302.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 368 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 881,516.

5,781 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered during past 24 hours: MoHAP

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention has announced that 5,781 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 24,723,039 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 249.97 doses per 100 people.

This is in line with the Ministry’s plan to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to all members of society and efforts to reach acquired immunity resulting from the vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the Covid19 virus.
