UAE announces 298 new COVID-19 cases, 360 recoveries, 1 death in last 24 hours

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 338,923 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced 298 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 734,894.

According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.

MoHAP also announced one death due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,090.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 360 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 727,166.

71,886 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered during past 24 hours: MoHAP

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that 71,886 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 19,847,232 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 200.67 doses per 100 people.

This is in line with the Ministry’s plan to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to all members of society and efforts to reach acquired immunity resulting from the vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the COVID-19 virus.

As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced 321 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 734,596.

According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.

MoHAP also announced 3 deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,089.

As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced 303 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 734,275.

According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care.

MoHAP also announced 3 deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,086.

61,923 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered during past 24 hours: MoHAP

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention has announced that 61,923 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 19,775,346 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 199.94 doses per 100 people.

This is in line with the Ministry’s plan to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to all members of society and efforts to reach acquired immunity resulting from the vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the Covid19 virus.
