A 6-year-old Monday died of wounds sustained after being attacked by a zoo lion in Khan Yunis, Gaza, according to a police spokesman. The spokesman said the child climbed into the lion’s den and approached one of its openings, prompting the lion attack that led to the child’s death. The Gaza police opened an investigation into the incident.
