Qatari Team Raise Tally To 9 Medals at Arab Rifle and Pistol Championship in Tunisia

The Qatari teams shooters continued their brilliance and distinction in the Arab Championship for 10-meter air rifle and pistol shooting, which concluded Monday in Tunisia.

Qatar’s shooters were able to win two additional medals (gold and bronze), bringing the mission’s total tally to 9 colored medals (two golds, a silver medal, and 6 bronze medals). The duo of Al Maha Al Ali and Abdulrahman Al Sulaiti won Monday the gold medal in the mixed rifle competition for the junior category, and at the same time. In the competition, the duo Sheikha Al Nuaimi and Khalid Al Sharshani won the bronze medal.

During the previous days, Qatari shooters won 7 medals in the Arab Championship, which came from the shooter Al Maha Al Ali, who won the gold medal in the 10-meter rifle competition for the junior girls individual category, and the shooter Sheikha Al Nuaimi, who won the bronze medal in the same competition, and the shooter Abdul Rahman Al Sulaiti won the silver medal in the competition. 10-meter rifle for the junior
individual category. In the same competition, shooter Saad Al Sulaiti won the bronze medal.

As for the team competitions, shooters Hamad Al-Marri, Saeed Al Marri and Abdullah Al Hajri each won a team bronze in the 10-meter pistol competition, and female shooters Bahia Al Hamad, Matara Al Asiri and Dalal Al Qubaisi won a team bronze in the 10-meter rifle competition.

In the mixed team competitions, Qatari team shooters Ali Rashid Al-Mohannadi and Bahia Al-Hamad won the bronze medal in the 10 meter rifle competition.

The Arab Championship competitions were held in the singles, doubles and team categories for men, women, and junior men and women, and witnessed the participation of 47 coaches and administrators, in addition to 9 international referees.
