Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul Ghani, met today, Wednesday, with a delegation from “Total Energy” and discussed with them the company’s plans to implement projects recently concluded with Iraq.
The company’s delegation included: Laurent Pfeiffer, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Laurent Vivier, Middle East Director for the Exploration Sector, and Dounia Chalabi, Director of Total Energy, Iraq Branch.
A statement from the Ministry of Oil explained, “During the meeting, the prospects for relations and joint cooperation in the oil and energy sector were discussed, and the plans and programs of Total Energy in implementing the contracts recently concluded with national oil companies, for gas investment and field development, seawater transportation and treatment, and the energy investment solar project power to generate electricity.
