Umm Al Emarat Park to host celebration of art, music and culture 12-13 March

ABU DHABI, Umm Al Emarat Park will come alive with Festival in the Park, a vibrant two-day outdoor cultural experience to be held on 12th-13th March, 2023, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF), bringing a dose of culture and joy to the community with a variety of family-friendly activities and performances, in addition to inclusive activities for People of Determination. With an impressive line-up of activities, Festival in the Park has something for everyone, from the young to the young at heart. Visitors can join in on the fun with the Drumming Circle, where they can learn to play the drums through imitation with Dubai Drums, or get creative with the Graffiti Art Workshop, where they will be introduced to different styles of graffiti such as tags, throws and piece. Visitors can also enjoy the Sustainable Palm Eye Art Workshop with Azza Al Qubaisi who seeks to engage the public with her art. For those who love to dance, the street dance workshop by Dance It Forward is not to be missed, covering various street dance styles and choreographies; the best part? No previous dance experience is required. There’s also an inclusive dance micro-workshop that will be offering a safe and creative space for People of Determination to explore mindful movement and physical and emotional expression. Visitors can also expect to be entertained by performances, including an exceptional stand-up comedy act that is sure to leave audiences in tears of laughter. UAE President receives President of Angola; discusses bilateral cooperation, issues of mutual concern

ABU DHABI, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received JoaPound o Manuel Lourenco, President of the Republic of Angola, who is on a working visit to the UAE. During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and the Angolan President discussed UAE-Angola relations and opportunities for further collaboration that would benefit both countries and their people, including in the areas of investment, trade, renewable energy and food security. The UAE President and President Lourenco also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern and discussed COP28 to be hosted by the UAE later this year and the importance that both countries attach to sustainability, climate action and environmental protection. ABU DHABI, etisalat by eand today announced the implementation of the EUTELSAT QUANTUM satellite solution, becoming the first telco in the country to expand 5G network capabilities over a software-defined satellite giving customers access to high speeds, enhanced coverage and scalability to meet future demands for high bandwidth applications. AED1.31 trillion in deposits of ‘above AED20 mn’ in UAE banks until December 2022

ABU DHABI, Large deposits (greater than AED20 million) made up 59% the total deposits held by the banks based in the UAE that totalled AED2.222 trillion until the end of 2022, data from the Central Bank of the UAE revealed. Deposits of greater than AED20 million surged to AED1.31 trillion by the end of December, a growth of 11.4% from roughly AED1.175 trillion by the end of December 2021. Deposit accounts of more than AED5 million up to AED20 million accounted for roughly AED269.24 billion, or 12.1% of all deposits, an 11% increase from AED242.46 billion in December 2021. Deposits from AED1.00 million up to AED5.00 million made up roughly 13% of the total at the end of last December, up 15.2% from AED250.63 billion in December 2021. Deposits of more than AED500,000 and up to AED1 million totalled AED108.5 billion, or 4.9% of all deposits, a rise of 13.5% from approximately AED95.6 billion in December 2021. Deposits between AED250.000 to AED500,000 totalled AED84.26 billion, down from AED87.4 billion in December 2021. Deposits of up to AED250,000 amounted to about 7.2% or the equivalent of AED160.8 billion at the end of last December, an increase of 11.3% compared to about AED144.47 billion in December 2021. Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed attends Abu Dhabi Government Leadership Retreat

The event, organised by Abu Dhabi Government, aimed to promote creative leadership and further strengthen cooperation During his visit, His Highness met with senior officials and government leaders and was briefed on the activities and sessions that took place during the event, which was attended by more than 50 director generals and undersecretaries from across Abu Dhabi Government.
