Hamdan bin Mohammed directs early disbursement of salaries to Dubai government employees on 23 April


DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has directed the early disbursement of April salaries for Dubai government employees, military personnel, military retirees, and recipients of government social benefits in the emirate on Tuesday, 23 April.

This decision reflects the Crown Prince’s commitment to supporting employees and their families, amidst the extreme weather conditions faced by the country.

The early disbursement is aimed at helping employees manage their family needs and ensuring their wellbeing during the current period.

Kuwait Relief Society signs deal to dispatch 3rd Gaza relief ship to enclave


Kuwait Relief Society on Sunday signed a third executive contract with the Turkish humanitarian relief authority and human rights and freedoms (IHH), worth USD four million, to dispatch the third “Gaza ship” to the strip to relieve the war-beleagured population.

The cairperson of the Kuwaiti society, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Saleh, said in a statement to KUNA, during the signing ceremony, that the contract is part of the “Gaza ship” donations sent by the association to relieve the Gazans.

He has indicated that in addition to the Kuwaiti society, more than 30 Kuwaiti associations, private and government establishments have contributed to the assistance since start of the aggression on the enclave.

Al-Saleh said 1.650 tons of the dispatched supplies, including food, blankets and clothes, would be dispatched by the Kuwaiti Relief Society.

The third relief ship is scheduled to set sail from a Turkish port and reach Egypt by May, he said, indicating that the cargo would be unloaded and loaded in trucks that would contin
ued the trip to Gaza by land.

RESISTANCE DIRECTLY TARGETS ENEMY’S SPY EQUIPMENT AT AL-MALIKIYAH POST


The Islamic Resistance issued a communiquĂ© this evening, in which it indicated that in support of the resilient Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the Resistance fighters targeted at 5:15 p.m. today the enemy’s spy equipment at the al-Malikiyah post, directly hitting it with appropriate weapons.

2 Killed, 14 Injured in US Tennessee Shooting


At least two people were killed and 14 others were injured in a shooting that occurred during a party in the city of Memphis, in the US State of Tennessee.

Local police said in a statement that three of the injured were taken to hospitals in critical condition, while 11 others arrived at emergency departments in private cars.

The party which was attended by approximately 200 to 300 people was held without a permit, police explained.

The US witnesses frequent shooting incidents with various motives. The issue of the spread of weapons among the population is considered one of the most controversial issues in the country, prompting US President Joe Biden to approve a draft law prepared by Republican and Democratic legislators to set controls on gun possession in June 2022.

Israeli Occupation Forces Detain 11 Palestinians in West Bank


The Israeli occupation forces detained 11 Palestinians in the West Bank on Sunday.

According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the occupation forces detained three Palestinians in Bethlehem and Nablus, and four others in Hebron, after raiding and searching their houses.

Four more Palestinians were detained in Ramallah after raiding and searching their houses, WAFA added.

The Israeli occupation forces escalated their military operations in various cities and towns across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, and stepped up arrests against the Palestinians.
