Ramallah – Ma’an – The Fatah movement – the northern regions announced tomorrow, Sunday, a comprehensive strike and an escalation of the confrontation with the occupier, “out of anger at the bleeding blood of our people in Tulkarm and Gaza.”

The movement called on all the Palestinian people to unite, solidarity and rally in support of our people in Tulkarm and Gaza.

The Teachers Union also announced that, in compliance with the decision of the National Forces, tomorrow, Sunday, will be a comprehensive strike day in all the nation’s schools, education directorates, and the ministry.

Announcing the death of 5 young men in Nour Shams camp, bringing the number of martyrs to 7

Tulkarm – Ma’an – Security sources in Tulkarm reported, on Saturday, that five young men were martyred during the ongoing Israeli aggression against Nour Shams camp for the third day in a row.

She said that the occupation authorities informed them of the detention of the bodies of: Alaa Youssef Abdel Rahim, Jaafar Salim Khaled Omar, Ahmed Hossam Muhammad Shehadeh, Omar Saleh Nayef Abu Al-Rub, and Ali Muhammad Ali Abdullah, without any information about the circumstances of their martyrdom.

With the martyrdom of the five young men, the number of martyrs of the camp has risen so far to 7 martyrs, including the child martyr Qais Fathi Nasrallah (15 years old), who was transferred yesterday to the hospital, and the martyr Salim Faisal Ghannam (30 years old), who is still lying in one of the camp’s houses.

The occupation forces prevent ambulances from entering the camp to transport the martyrs.

The Red Crescent Society reported that its crews were trying to reach casualties after receiving reports in the slaug
hterhouse area of ??Nour Shams camp, but the occupation forces prevented them, pursued them, and asked them to leave the place.

The occupation forces opened fire on an ambulance belonging to the Red Crescent Society after its crew attempted to pull the body of one of the martyrs from one of the outskirts of the camp, but no injuries were reported.

The occupation forces continue their aggression against the camp by sending more military vehicles stationed in all its axes, alleys, neighborhoods and Nablus Street adjacent to its entrance, amid heavy gunfire at anyone trying to leave or approach the camp.

The occupation bulldozers carried out extensive demolition and sabotage of infrastructure and citizens’ property, affecting the camp’s bakery, commercial stores, homes, fences, and the destruction of vehicles, in addition to the interruption of electricity, water, communication networks, and the Internet. This attack was described as the most violent and worst in months.

ens of citizens’ homes, introducing police dogs into them, searching and vandalizing them, arresting young men, beating and abusing them, and deploying their snipers on the roofs of tall buildings. They have also blown up a number of homes with Energa guided missiles.

So far, 12 people injured by live bullets and severe beatings have arrived at the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and the Al-Isra Specialized Hospital in Tulkarm, and their injuries were described as minor to moderate.

UAE Pavilion at Venice Biennale opens its doors to visitors


VENICE: The National Pavilion UAE at the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition opened its doors today to visitors to explore the artistic worlds of Abdullah Al Saadi in an enchanting exhibition that unfolds like a story containing many chapters entitled ‘Abdullah Al Saadi: Sites of Memory, Sites of Amnesia,” under the patronage of the artistic curator Tarek Abou El Fetouh.

The Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition witnesses wide international participation, including 87 national participants from around the world, and its events continue until November 24, 2024.

The National Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates showcases the extension of Emirati art roots to the depths of Arab history through the artistic practices of Emirati artist Abdullah Al Saadi within his journeys in nature. The exhibition presents eight works by Al Saadi produced during his journeys in nature, containing hundreds of artistic pieces.

Tarek Abou El Fetouh said, ‘We expect the exhibition titled Abdullah Al Saadi: Sites of
Memory, Sites of Amnesia will attract attention and inspire visitors to contemplate the sources of inspiration for Arabs to use language in an innovative and engaging manner, as well as to evoke the practices of poetry writing from the depths of authentic Arab history.”

Jordan to participate in Saudi food show next Monday


Amman: Jordanian companies operating in the food manufacturing field will begin their participation in the Saudi Food Manufacturing Show 2024,Which will open its operations on April 30 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Jordan’s participation in the three-day event is coordinated by the Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), while several countries take part in the show in its first edition, namely Saudi Arabia, Italy, India, China, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Denmark, Pakistan, Singapore, and Germany.

In a statement Saturday, JEA Chairman, Ahmed Khudari, said coordination of the participation of Jordanian industries in the show aims to diversify and increase national exports and learn about the latest developments, technologies and innovations in the food manufacturing industry.

Khudari added that JEA’s coordinating effort aims to ensure that national companies could promote their products and launch new partnerships in foreign markets, in light of the “broad” international participation in this event.

ally, he noted Saudi market is a “key” destination for Jordanian industrial exports, in light of the two brotherly kingdoms’ “strong” relations at various levels and their geographical proximity.

Jordanian industry, he noted, has witnessed “remarkable” development over the past years in terms of quality and competitive price, as reflected in its access to more than 142 markets across the world.

Khudari stressed importance of developing industrial exports in stimulating the national economy, achieving the “desired” economic growth rates, generating more job opportunities, attracting new investments and supporting the Kingdom’s foreign currency reserves.
