Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry approves Strategic Business Leadership Programme


SHARJAH: The Board of Directors of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) held its 105th meeting at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrui, Chairman of the FCCI and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In attendance were Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Vice Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the members of the FCCI board, and Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem, Secretary-General of the FCCI.

During the meeting, the board members articulated their appreciation to the UAE’s sound government for the care and attention it has given to the private sector. They also expressed their gratitude for developments and changes prompted by UAE chambers with the aim of empowering the Emirati private sector to assume a greater role in the sustainable development of the nation. This has particular importance for the upcoming period, in accordance with the ob
jectives of the ‘We the UAE 2023′ vision, which seeks to foster a competitive business ecosystem that attracts investments by building a private sector that drives a competitive, globally integrated UAE economy.

Other topics covered during the 105th FCCI board meeting included the Board of Directors’ goals and visions for the coming period, the 2024 draft budget along with its clauses and key contents, and the Sharjah Chamber’s Strategic Business Leadership Programme, which is set to begin on 8th January 2024.
