Global Media Congress delegates stand to earn CPD Certification points

ABU DHABI, ADNEC Group and the Emirates News Agency (WAM) have revealed that the attendees and delegates at the conference sessions and workshops held as part of the Global Media Congress (GMC) will benefit professionally in terms of earning points in the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Certification Service.

Established in 1996, the CPD Certification Service is the world’s leading and largest independent CPD accreditation organisation working across all industry sectors, and most of the reputable employers are enrolled in this service aimed at continuous learning and skills development for professionals of diverse fields. Every attendee and delegate will earn one CPD point for each hour, and the three-day programme promises the opportunity to add dozens of CPD points to his or her credit.

Held during 15th-17th November, 2022, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with WAM, the CPD-accredited Global Media Congress will see an exhibition and a specialised conference that will focus on the latest developments in the media sector and its future prospects.

Attendees will also get to engage with emerging start-ups that invented innovative products using the newest scientific and technological tools such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality.

The programme will also provide opportunities to dialogue with content providers, and companies running emerging market news sites.

Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of WAM and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for the Global Media Congress, said that the opportunity for delegates to avail of CPD points for their attendance would be immensely beneficial for their professional growth. “CPD accreditation service is now one of the world’s prime benchmarks for continuous learning for professionals. We hope that media organisations will pay close attention to services such as this which are conducive to bringing their staff up to global standards in their fields,” he added.

Speaking on the professional development benefits accruing from attendance in the pioneering media event, Saeed Al Mansouri, CEO of Capital Events, part of ADNEC Group, said, “We are delighted that attendance in the Global Media Congress is also an avenue for delegates to avail of CPD points, which are a definitive marker of commitment to continuous learning in professional life across multiple fields. We urge all the attendees and delegates to make sure that their details are recorded for the CPD certification service. In case their employers have not yet enrolled for this prestigious global programme for skills development certification for their staff, it is an occasion for them to do so.”
